CVICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

What You’ll Do

Provide specialized ICU nursing care for cardiac ICU patients, including those with complex cardiac conditions
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and adjust treatments as prescribed
Manage advanced equipment such as ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and balloon pumps
Perform IV starts, telemetry assessments, and conscious sedation procedures
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care
Document care plans and progress accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system
Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed during shifts

What You Need

Valid Ohio RN licensure and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS)
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac ICU nursing experience (preferred)
Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
EPIC experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
