Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will support the accounting department by managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy across all bookkeeping activities. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help streamline our financial operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities

Manage data entry for invoices, receipts, and expense reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processes, and general ledger entries
Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents and records
Support office management tasks including calendar management and appointment scheduling
Handle customer service inquiries via multi-line phone systems and email correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
Prepare spreadsheets and reports to track financial data, ensuring accuracy through proofreading and data verification
Collaborate with team members on administrative tasks, including document proofreading, filing, and organizing office supplies

Requirements

Proven experience with office management, clerical work, or administrative support in a professional setting
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Familiarity with bookkeeping principles and experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills, including experience with front desk or medical/dental receptionist roles
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support diverse client communication needs
Demonstrated attention to detail in data entry, proofreading, and document management
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high productivity standards
