Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Staff Registered Nurse, where your expertise will drive exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will deliver high-quality nursing services while adhering to the latest standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management.
Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, ostomy care, and ventilator management with precision and aseptic technique.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and Cerner for documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records.
Coordinate patient care plans, including discharge planning, case management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across hospital medicine, ICU, trauma centers, or outpatient clinics.
Monitor patients in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, managing acute pain and responding swiftly to emergency situations with critical & intensive care procedures.
Engage in patient education on health coaching topics like geriatrics, memory care, behavioral health, or chronic disease management tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
Proven experience working in diverse settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or long-term care facilities.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic and Cerner; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding is preferred.
Critical care experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers highly desirable; experience in trauma medicine or neonatal resuscitation is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to perform complex procedures such as tube feeding management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and sterile processing.
Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
