Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented estate manager to lead all operations and maintenance of a distinguished family estate. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily estate and family operations, collaborating closely with the owner to align processes with their preferences. The ideal candidate will be adept at working independently, managing multiple responsibilities, and adapting to changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

Regularly meet with the owner to discuss plans, events, and estate requirements.

Act as the main contact for owners, providing updates on household activity, scheduled maintenance, and staff status.

Maintain consistency in estate standards, procedures, and services.

Establish friendly relationships with children, assisting in scheduling and executing their activities.

Manage stock of personal items for principals and children.

Organize, pack, ship, and receive deliveries and packages for the household.

Oversee events and dinner parties, coordinating with guests, chefs, and sommeliers.

Assist with packing for family trips and coordinate logistics.

Contact, screen, propose, and oversee vendors, including budget tracking.

Negotiate and manage contracts, supervise work, and review invoices.

Supervise on-site activities and provide day-to-day direction to staff.

Prepare realistic plans and conduct regular walkthroughs of daily checklists.

Work with, schedule, supervise, and upkeep maintenance schedules for household vendors.

Supervise construction and renovation projects from design to completion.

Review and train staff, keeping accurate records of all employee-related activities.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years experience as an estate manager, including hotel and household experience.

Experience managing busy school and activity calendars.

Sensitivity to pricing and cost considerations.

Strong network for filling vacant positions.

Administrative and operations experience, including hiring, firing, and managing expenses.

Experience overseeing contractors and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Superior organizational, process, and time management skills.

Outstanding references from current and previous employers.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.

Valid driver's license with a perfect driving record.

High emotional intelligence, integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.

Compensation : $140K - $200K (depending on the candidate’s skills and experience)
