Full Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join and guide our small, dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fabricating high-precision metal parts and assemblies, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to spec. This is a hands-on role that thrives on fast turnarounds, accuracy, and a collaborative shop culture. This is not a routine production job. You will face new challenges every day. You will problem solve on the fly. You will build beautiful structures in our 20,000 sq. ft. shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings, and schematics with a high level of accuracy
Perform advanced fabrication tasks including cutting, welding (MIG/TIG), forming, grinding, and finishing
Maintain high standards of precision and craftsmanship across all builds
Collaborate closely with design and production teams to troubleshoot and solve fabrication challenges
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
Train and mentor fabricators, promoting best practices and safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Operate and maintain fabrication tools and machinery
Track materials, supplies, and ensure efficient use of resources

Qualifications:

5+ years of metal fabrication experience, including leadership or supervisory roles
Expert in MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum
Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
Proficiency with fabrication machinery: brakes, shears, saws, rollers, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a high-paced environment
Strong communication and team-building abilities
Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work area
Able to lift 100 pounds
Safely maneuver forklift for loading and unload of containers
Willingness and ability to travel

Preferred Skills:

Experience in custom or one-off fabrication projects
Ability to do basic electrical work
Ability to do basic carpentry, framing
