Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apparel ERP and QuickBooks Specialist to join our finance team. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless integration and management of apparel industry-specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems alongside QuickBooks accounting software. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining accounting processes, and supporting overall financial health. Duties

Manage and optimize the apparel ERP system to ensure accurate inventory tracking, order processing, and production planning.
Maintain and update QuickBooks Online, ensuring precise recording of transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis to verify financial accuracy.
Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.
Process payroll accurately while adhering to relevant tax laws and regulations.
Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and assisting with financial forecasting using spreadsheets and financial software tools like Sage, Xero, or similar systems.

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
Experience with apparel ERP systems or similar inventory management solutions is highly desirable.
Knowledge of corporate accounting practices as well as non-profit accounting is a plus.
Familiarity with financial concepts such as account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing.
Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), including data analysis and formula application for financial reporting.
Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks accurately under tight deadlines.
Prior bookkeeper experience or roles involving accounts payable/receivable processing is preferred.
