Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests’ dining experience by providing exceptional service, expert beverage and food recommendations, and ensuring every guest feels valued. Your enthusiasm, culinary knowledge, and ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency will contribute to creating memorable moments for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment where teamwork and guest satisfaction are at the forefront.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and beverage options.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and spirits knowledge.
Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine focus on guest preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and resolving any concerns promptly.
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure all guests receive attentive service without delay.
Support the team with food handling duties, cashiering, and sanitation tasks as required to uphold high standards of hospitality.

Experience

Previous food service experience in a fine dinning restaurant setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of beverage service including whisky, cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques.
Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations.
Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
Knowledge of restaurant operations including bussing, cashiering, and basic kitchen support tasks.
Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
