Job Overview

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep/Kitchen Helper and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! You will play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, helping us serve delicious meals with precision and care. Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing using proper knife skills, and following recipes accurately
Support the kitchen staff by preparing ingredients and assembling meals according to menu standards
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by adhering to safety protocols and cleaning schedules
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, slicers, ovens, and dishwashers
Help with meal service by setting up serving stations and assisting with catering or special event preparations
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks, ensure smooth workflow, and uphold safety standards in production

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant settings, or dietary departments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety management practices
Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques
Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen environment
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the culinary environment
Basic culinary experience including knife skills and slicing techniques is advantageous
Prior catering or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
