Full Job Description

Fresh Departments Data Entry Clerk

Position Objective: To perform data entry for Fresh Departments and vendor functions as directed.

Reporting Structure: This position formally reports to the Corporate Director of Fresh Foods.

Status: This is a non-exempt position.

Knowledge

The following is a list of any certifications, formal education, or training requirements for this position.

Essential Knowledge

 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and 10-key experience and/or training preferred.

 A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

 Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.

Skills

The following is a list of the basic skill requirements for this position.

Essential Job Functions

Accounting

 Enter ingredients and nutritional information for product labels in fresh departments.

 Communicate with Vendors to retrieve all ingredient and nutritional legends.

 Work closely with Fresh Department Directors and Pricing Clerks to enable accurate nutritional statements on price labels.

 Assist Fresh Departments with Labor and other reports as needed.

 Communicate with co-workers, management, store personnel and others in a courteous and professional manner.

 Any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignment.

Physical Abilities

The following physical movements could potentially be part of any scheduled shift and employees will be expected to perform these actions while on duty.

Essential Abilities

 Able to sit for extended periods of time in an office setting.

 Perform repetitive movements associated with typing and other clerical job tasks.

Non-Essential Abilities

 Reaching overhead with both arms and twisting at the waist.

 Pushing and pulling items to the proper locations as needed.

 Lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.
