Title: Head of Sales Partner (Equity + Commission) | Fractional IT Consulting Firm | Remote US

What Bantam is

Bantam IT Consulting is a fractional IT leadership practice for US companies with 20 to 200 employees: firms that have outgrown informal IT but can't justify a full-time IT Director hire. Founder is a sitting Director of IT with 13+ years of experience, including managing security and operations for a fleet of 1,400+ WordPress sites. Delivery capability, offering design, pricing, positioning, and marketing site are all live.

The offer structure (already built)

$2,500 fixed-scope IT Readiness Audit (the wedge; this is what you sell)
~$30,000 fixed-scope 90-Day execution engagement (founder closes on the audit walkthrough)
$6,000 to 9,000/month fractional IT leadership retainer

Target buyers: COO, CFO, and VP Ops titles in professional services, specialty healthcare, PE-backed rollups, and regulated SaaS.

The role

Own the commercial side of the business end to end: pipeline strategy, outbound execution, messaging refinement, and, as revenue supports it, hiring and managing the sales team under you. The founder handles all delivery and joins prospect calls for technical credibility. This is a builder role. If you want a book of leads handed to you, this is not it.

How it works

Phase 1: 90-day paid trial. Contractor basis, 15 to 20 commission on first-year contract value of closed deals. Explicit success gate agreed in writing before day one.
Phase 2: Partner conversion. [10 to 20]% equity, 4-year vest with 1-year cliff, plus milestone-based acceleration tied to ARR and team-building goals. Ongoing commission continues at a partner rate.
