Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver exceptional dining experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the crucial link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant, creating memorable moments for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations within a lively environment.

Duties

Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining presentation quality and temperature.
Assist servers by refilling beverages, garnishing plates, and ensuring tables are well-stocked with necessary utensils and condiments.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and ensure food safety standards are upheld at all times.
Support banquet or catering events by delivering food to designated areas promptly and professionally.
Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when required.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure swift service without compromising quality.
Uphold excellent customer service standards by greeting guests warmly, responding to inquiries courteously, and assisting with special requests.
Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless dining experiences in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub atmospheres.
Adhere to all food handling regulations, safety protocols, and alcohol service guidelines where applicable.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is required- bartending preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems/Toast
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and order calculations.
Ability to serve in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Experience in catering or banquet settings is desirable but not mandatory.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a vibrant hospitality setting involving both restaurant dining and nightclub events.
