Family Medicine Physician (MD) – Outpatient Primary Care

Location: Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Day Shift

Physician Resources, Inc. is recruiting on behalf of a well-established outpatient family practice seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys practicing comprehensive primary care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will:

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
Evaluate patients through medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, immunizations, and chronic disease management.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate documentation using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and established clinical guidelines.
Provide leadership and oversight to clinical support staff.
Participate in clinical research initiatives as appropriate.

Qualifications Required

Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited U.S. medical school
Board Certified in Family Medicine
Current, unrestricted Texas medical license
Current DEA registration
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred

At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Excellent communication and patient relationship-building skills
