Full Job Description

We are a long established Allergy practice with 3 physicians looking for a responsible, organized individual with experience in bookkeeping and medical office operations to act as bookkeeper with some office management responsibilities.

Responsibilities would include:

Overseeing financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable.

Payroll and HR responsibilities including staff scheduling, approval of paid time off, etc.

Overseeing day-to-day operations including patient scheduling, registration process, ordering supplies, etc.

Organizing and maintaining office and medical records.

Planning, implementing, and overseeing office policies and procedures.

Conducting interviews, hiring, and training medical office staff and conducting performance reviews.

Days and hours somewhat flexible, 25-30 hours/week.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in fiscal management and office supervision.

Prior experience working with Quickbooks is highly desirable.

Experience with Athena EHR/billing platform would also be a plus.

Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations.

Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Competence in budgeting, financial management, and human resources functions related to a healthcare practice.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
