Full Job Description

Patients First Home Care

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Accounting Assistant to support our Finance and Accounting team, Part Time. This position assists with payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and general accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing of financial information.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Assists with accounts payable/receivable, and third-party billing.
Process accounts payable, according to Agency policy, post expense and income to appropriate accounts, review all phone charges
monthly.
Assist in preparation of entry forms, for general ledger.
Post all payments in a cash payments journal.
Supervise and follow up on receiving signed service agreements and paying deposits.
Review, and analyze, financial reports, with the VP of Financial and Accounting
Assist with audits.
Verify, and ensure, timesheets are signed and in the office on time.
Take care of any necessary payroll and billing adjustments.
Assist with various assignments as directed by VP of Finance and Accountin

Qualifications & Skills

Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and personnel records
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage office files, logbooks, and “T accounts” including QuickBooks experience

Working Conditions

Primarily a desk-based position involving sitting, standing, walking, and occasional stooping
Frequent telephone and email communication
Position may involve stressful deadlines and time-sensitive assignments
Occasional travel to meetings may be required
Minimal lifting required
Must be able to read standard office print and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

CEU on Elderly Abuse, Human Trafficking and Alzheimer's/Dementia  
TB test results
