Full Job Description

Job description:
Black Clover is seeking an experienced and hands-on Embroidery Department Manager to lead our embroidery production team in Sandy, Utah. In this supervisory role, you will oversee a team of embroidery operators running commercial embroidery machines, ensuring the department runs efficiently and every piece meets our brand's premium quality standards.

We're looking for a strong leader with real embroidery production experience who can keep a fast-paced department organized, motivated, and on schedule. If you know embroidery inside and out and want to help build a growing, innovative brand, this role is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and support a team of embroidery machine operators
Plan and prioritize daily production runs to meet order deadlines
Monitor stitching quality, thread tension, color accuracy, and overall output across the department
Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance/vendors as needed
Train new operators and cross-train existing staff
Track production volume, machine downtime, and department efficiency
Manage embroidery supply inventory (thread, backing, needles, etc.) and coordinate reordering
Handle staffing needs including hiring recommendations, performance reviews, and coaching, in partnership with HR
Enforce safety protocols and keep the production floor organized
Communicate production status and capacity to leadership and other departments

Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Barudan or other commercial multihead embroidery machines
3+ years of embroidery production experience, including at least 1-2 years leading or supervising a team
Sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to consistent quality
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented leadership style
Comfortable being on the production floor and working alongside the team, not just in an office

Schedule & Pay
Full-time position (Monday-Friday schedule)
Salary, depending on experience
