Full Job Description

Truss Assembler | St. George, UT

Nexeo Staffing is looking for a Truss Assembly Technician for a building materials manufacturing company in St. George, UT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable, hardworking individuals who are looking to grow into a long-term career.

Responsibilities

Assemble wooden roof trusses on an automated production line
Read blueprints and take measurements to meet specific dimensions
Use hand tools to construct trusses in a team-based environment
Load and unload materials from trucks
Accurately pick, prepare, and stage orders for delivery or pickup
Complete required paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and reliability (consistent attendance is critical)
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Ability to follow processes and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and basic math/measurement skills
Safety-conscious mindset
Forklift experience is a plus (training and certification provided)
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Work Environment

Indoor production facility (not fully exposed to sun)
Enclosed and more climate-controlled than typical outdoor construction work
Physically active role requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and repetitive movement

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (Overtime may be available)
