Senior Talent Partner (Contract)
Location: Remote (East Coast candidates preferred for team alignment and collaboration)
Duration: 6-Month Contract Assignment
Potential for Conversion: Possible, but not guaranteed

About the Role
Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Senior Talent Partner (Contractor) to support critical hiring initiatives tied to major programs across North America. This role will serve as a strategic recruiting partner to business leaders and hiring managers, helping build high-performing teams that drive innovation, infrastructure reliability, and long-term operational growth.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments and brings a strong background in full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, project-based, and operational positions. This individual must be comfortable operating independently, managing competing priorities, and influencing stakeholders while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for engineering, project management, digital technology, operations, and leadership roles
Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies using direct outreach, referrals, networking, and external talent channels
Conduct candidate screenings and structured interviews aligned to technical requirements and business objectives
Guide hiring teams through selection decisions, interview calibration, and offer development in partnership with HR and compensation stakeholders
Manage multiple active requisitions simultaneously while balancing urgency, quality, and candidate experience
Provide regular pipeline updates, recruiting insights, and market feedback to stakeholders
Support project-driven hiring ramp-ups and organizational growth initiatives
Maintain compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and recruiting best practices

Qualifications

Must already possess work authorization that permits employment with our client in the United States
Minimum 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, full-cycle recruiting, or strategic talent partnering
Proven experience supporting senior business leaders and managing complex hiring portfolios
Background recruiting for technical, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or project-based environments strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a contract capacity with minimal onboarding or oversight
Experience operating within large, global, and matrixed organizations
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consultative partnership skills
Ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver results in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience

Experience recruiting within energy, utilities, infrastructure, industrial technology, or engineering-driven organizations
Familiarity with project-based workforce planning and high-volume hiring initiatives
Exposure to recruiting for grid modernization, automation, electrification, or digital transformation programs is a plus
