Help Us Tell a Meaningful Story
Stoic Wealth Advisors is a growing wealth-management firm in Prescott, Arizona. We help individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions, prepare for retirement, protect their wealth, and create a lasting legacy.
Our approach is inspired by Stoic philosophy: focus on what can be controlled, prepare wisely for what cannot, and make decisions with discipline and purpose.
We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to take ownership of our social media, website, video production, email marketing, digital content, and overall online presence.
This is not a position for someone who simply schedules social-media posts. We are seeking a versatile, hands-on marketing professional who can develop ideas, produce compelling content, manage projects, measure results, and help build a recognizable and trusted financial-services brand.
The Position
You will work directly with the founder of Stoic Wealth Advisors and collaborate with our team to communicate our message across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate is both creative and organized. You should be comfortable moving from writing a thoughtful LinkedIn post to filming a video, editing website content, designing an email campaign, and reviewing marketing analytics.
This is a marketing and content position—not a financial-advisor or sales- production role.
Primary Responsibilities
Social Media and Content Strategy
- Develop and manage a consistent monthly and quarterly content calendar.
- Create and publish content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other appropriate platforms.
- Put together Reels on Instagram and Facebook, looking for what's trending and going viral. Be competitive with ideas and different approaches to add levity and a connection with our viewers.
- Turn financial-planning concepts into educational, approachable, and engaging content.
- Monitor engagement, respond appropriately to comments, and help strengthen our online community.
- Identify relevant financial, retirement, business, community, and lifestyle topics for future content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels.Video Production
- Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form and long-form videos. Produce educational videos, founder messages, event recaps, client updates, and social-media clips.
- Create scripts, storyboards, captions, thumbnails, and supporting graphics. Manage basic lighting, sound, camera setup, and post-production.
- Repurpose longer videos into shorter pieces for social media, email, and the website.
Website Management
- Maintain and update the Stoic Wealth Advisors website.
- Create and revise pages, articles, team biographies, landing pages, forms, and calls to action.
- Improve the website’s appearance, functionality, search visibility, and visitor experience.
- Coordinate with outside website, technology, or compliance providers when necessary.
- Monitor website traffic, form submissions, and other conversion activity.
- Experience with WordPress is strongly preferred.
Writing and Email Marketing
- Write social-media posts, website copy, newsletters, articles, video scripts, event invitations, and marketing emails.
- Create educational content that reflects the firm’s philosophy and professional standards.
- Help communicate sophisticated financial topics in clear, conversational language.
- Maintain an organized email-marketing calendar.
- Review content carefully for accuracy, grammar, brand consistency, and required disclosures.
Brand and Creative Support
- Create branded graphics, presentations, handouts, event materials, and digital advertisements.
- Help maintain consistent visual standards across all firm communications. Support the promotion of client Coffee Talks, community events, charitable activities, seminars, and other firm initiatives.
- Maintain an organized library of photographs, video footage, logos, templates, and marketing assets.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, printers, designers, and other outside vendors when needed.
Analytics and Performance
- Track website traffic, email performance, social-media engagement, video views, and prospective-client inquiries.
- Prepare a concise monthly marketing performance report.
- Recommend improvements based on measurable results rather than vanity metrics alone.
- Help establish a reliable process for identifying how prospective clients discover the firm.
- Test new content formats, campaigns, and distribution strategies.
Financial-Services Compliance
- Submit public-facing materials through the firm’s required review and approval process.
- Maintain organized records of approved content and supporting materials. Learn and follow applicable financial-services advertising and communication standards.
- Work collaboratively with the firm’s compliance resources while still bringing creativity and fresh ideas to the role.
The employee will not be expected to independently interpret securities regulations or provide financial advice. Training will be provided regarding the firm’s marketing-review procedures.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in marketing, content creation, communications, digital media, or a related position.
- Demonstrated experience managing social-media accounts for a business or professional organization.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Experience filming and editing polished video content.
- Experience maintaining a business website or content-management system.
- Strong visual judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, calendars, and deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assignments.
- Ability to receive feedback and revise work without losing momentum.
- Professional judgment and discretion when working with financial and client-related subject matter.
- A portfolio or examples of previous writing, design, website, social-media, or video work.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media production, or a related field is helpful, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
The Person We Are Looking For
You may be a strong fit for this position if you:
- Enjoy turning ideas into finished work.
- Can think strategically but are equally willing to handle day-to-day execution.
- Are naturally curious and regularly bring new ideas to the table.
- Understand that professional marketing requires both creativity and consistency.
- Care about quality, accuracy, and the small details.
- Can manage your own priorities without requiring constant supervision. Are comfortable working directly with a business owner.
- Want to build something meaningful rather than becoming one small part of a large marketing department.
- Appreciate thoughtful communication, long-term thinking, and a disciplined approach to business.

Within the first six months, the successful candidate will have:
- Established a consistent and organized content calendar.
- Created a reliable schedule for producing and publishing video content.

Candidates with significant financial-services marketing experience, advanced video-production abilities, and strong website-management skills may be considered toward the upper end of the range.
Benefits: Details regarding paid time off, paid holidays, retirement benefits, insurance benefits, professional development, and any performance-based compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates.

- Full-time position based in Prescott, Arizona
- Primarily in-office, with flexibility depending on projects and business needs
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday
