Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to Personal Injury Litigation Team. This pivotal role involves supporting complex litigation cases across various practice areas, including general and commercial litigation, personal injury, estate planning, environmental law, and more. The ideal candidate will be energized by a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to legal case management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-stakes legal proceedings while honing your paralegal expertise in a collaborative setting.

Duties

Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial support.
Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to gather pertinent case law and statutory information.
Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
Perform document review and data entry tasks for large volumes of case-related materials; facilitate efficient document review processes.
Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information for ongoing cases.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and court appearances while maintaining clear communication channels.
Support administrative functions such as filing court documents electronically or physically, maintaining case calendars, and managing deadlines in compliance with procedural law requirements.
Utilize legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis to identify relevant case law across diverse practice areas including tribal law & regulations, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and more.
Provide executive administrative support by managing correspondence, phone etiquette, organizational tasks, and maintaining professional communication standards.

Qualifications

Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation procedures across multiple practice areas such as general & commercial litigation, personal injury law (including personal injury case experience), estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, immigration law or related fields.
Exceptional research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools; ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.
Proficiency with document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; experience with legal case management software is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively.
Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all communications.
Effective interviewing techniques for client intake and witness interviews; strong verbal communication skills complemented by professional phone etiquette.
Knowledge of procedural laws governing court filings and discovery processes across various jurisdictions.
Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as data entry, filing (electronic or physical), transcription services and document review.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
