Restaurant Assistant Manager (Japanese Sushi Restaurant)

Location: New York, NY | Full-Time

Salary: $67,000 – $71,000

Summary:

Seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with a background in Japanese sushi restaurants to support daily operations across front-of-house and kitchen. This role ensures high-quality food, smooth service, and excellent guest experience while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily FOH/BOH operations and ensure efficient workflow
Coordinate service with chefs to maintain quality and timing
Train, schedule, and supervise staff
Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues
Manage inventory, costs, and compliance with health regulations
Support business goals, promotions, and operational improvements

Qualifications:

3+ years of restaurant experience (Japanese/sushi preferred)
