Full Job Description

Company Overview
Young Women's College Prep Charter School is a dynamic educational institution serving students in grades 7 through 12. We are dedicated to fostering an empowering environment that promotes academic excellence and leadership development for young women.

Job Overview

The grade level manager works under the direction of the Principal, Assistant Principal and Dean of Student to manage low-level student behavior concerns and establish a positive and structured school setting. The manager will provide classroom and/or 1:1 student intervention in support of improved student behaviors.

Core Duties:

Monitor student interactions throughout the day
Actively monitor halls, bathrooms and participate in lunch duty
Provide direct behavior intervention support
Provide support to teachers in monitoring and addressing student behavior in classroom
Respond appropriately to various student behavior concerns
Collect and document behavioral data
Morning arrival check in/security screening
Participate in student mediations as needed
Provide administration with updates regarding observable on-going student behavior
Participate in all required trainings, including Mental Health/First Aid, Trauma Informed Practices, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associates degree
Experience with student management

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Successful rapport with students and families
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective in emergency, crisis, or otherwise serious situations.
Knowledge of and ability to protect and maintain students rights to privacy and confidentiality.
Effective ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.
