Infusion Registered Nurse

Shift - Day shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert infusion therapy and patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring optimal outcomes and comfort for our patients. Your expertise will support a wide range of treatments, including IV infusions, medication administration, and specialized therapies.

Responsibilities

Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, injections, and medications accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Assess patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, and detailed patient assessments to determine appropriate infusion plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain precise medical documentation within electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on their infusion procedures, medication side effects, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and adherence.
Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
Minimum of two years RN experience required.
One-year acute care experience preferred.
BSN required.
Current Vermont or multi-state compact RN license.
Current BLS from AHA.
Preferred: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI)
