Full Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of guests, maintain seating arrangements, and assist in creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times accurately.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations.
Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Handle guest relations with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Skills

Strong guest services orientation with a passion for hospitality.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with POS systems for managing reservations and orders is a plus.
Ability to maintain positive guest relations in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally.
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings is preferred but not required.
A helpful attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
