Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and assisting with meal service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, kitchen operations, and a passion for delivering quality meals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain hands-on experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dining services
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies and ensuring cleanliness
Assist with catering events and special meal requests as needed
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Support serving staff during meal service when necessary

Qualifications

Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques such as knife skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Experience with catering, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus
A passion for the food industry and a commitment to quality service
