Role Description The Pre Driven Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview, IL. This role is responsible for overseeing the pre-driven vehicle sales department, including managing inventory, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring vehicles are presented and merchandised effectively. The Pre Driven Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team, sets daily and monthly sales goals, monitors performance, and provides ongoing training and support. Day-to-day tasks include working directly with customers, negotiating deals, finalizing sales documentation, and coordinating with finance, service, and management teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, implementing sales processes, maintaining compliance with dealership policies, and supporting marketing initiatives to drive showroom and online traffic.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in automotive sales or retail sales management, preferably with pre-driven or used vehicles.
Strong leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
Solid customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle negotiations and resolve concerns professionally.
Comfort with basic automotive product knowledge and the ability to explain vehicle features, benefits, and value to customers.
Proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
Ability to analyze sales data, monitor inventory turn, and adjust strategies based on performance and market conditions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance practices.
High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive customer interactions.
Availability to work standard dealership hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
